Top 50 Predictions: MLB's 2022-2023 Free Agent Class

Winter is upon us, and with it comes a new offseason’s class of free agents in Major League Baseball. As is customary every year, my esteemed former colleague at MLB.com, Kristopher Daly, sat down with me to make our predictions for where this year’s top 50 free agents will be signing.

Our picks are based on team positional needs, perceived player preferences, and geographic market factors (Example: Just because someone’s from Florida doesn’t mean they want to go play there, or that the Rays/Marlins are willing to spend money on them to do so). Though there are certain predictive factors that lend clues, there’s always a small bit of randomness involved in offseason transactions too. Hence the fun, right?
