This year, we witnessed a baseball season unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. The COVID-19 pandemic irreparably altered the 2020 season, throwing many players out of their preferred training routines. Owners crowed about not having as much revenue due to lack of fans. So, another winter of gridlock with the looming threat of a strike awaits us.
It should be noted that if this free agent class were available five years ago, most of them would be getting guaranteed deals. My anticipation is that free agents ranked 30 and beyond in this list will have to settle for Minors deals, regardless of their impressive body of work.
