Back in 2014, a friend needed b-roll shots for walking tours of Brooklyn Historical Society. The particular project didn't go anywhere but I had a lot of footage just sitting around from it. So this is a mashup of that footage, consider it a tiny taste of what Brooklyn is like when winter begins to thaw, and spring pokes its head out from the horizon. Directed by award-winning documentarian Stanley Nelson Jr., Freedom Summer (2014) sheds light on the efforts of United States civil rights activists in 1964. I sourced archival photographs from various libraries and historical centers across the US, performed basic associate editing functions to organize video footage, and filled in as a production assistant for interview shoots.

Global Nomads Group partnered with School of Leadership, Afghanistan (SOLA) in a yearlong program that connected over 200 students in Afghanistan and the US from 2011-2012. To increase the impact of the program, GNG and SOLA also produced a mini-series, Youth LINKS TV, that aired on Afghan Television the fall of 2012.
